I thought it was just a gag gift from my sister for Christmas. I have not smoked for over 7 1/2 years and have not taken alcohol or pot for 15 1/2 years. Curiosity led me to try to smoke this relatively odorless herb, after hints it may be something to try.

The first hit was very harsh and hard on my lungs. The second hit I took with plenty of air and held it longer. That was enough smoke in these lungs. I got a little dizzy and thought it was from smoke inhalation. Sat down, looked up and saw purple hand writing on pages type hallucinations on the ceiling. I realized I was on a mild acid type trip. No paranoia or nervousness that drove me to drink with pot or acid. I was smiling but did not feel any special mood elevation. I could not remember what I was going to do that afternoon, and went to put on a CD but could not decide and decided to go out in the garage and try playing my Stratocaster.

My God! I couldn’t believe how well I could play. Added progressions, and notes came with ease. Faster, more accurate, and perfect timing on bends and trem work. I started with, appropriately, Are You Experienced, and nailed it. The hey Baby–the land of the New Rising Sun, to a song I made up 28 years ago, to Beck’s Band With No name, Sitting On Top of the World embellished Cream style and Ghost Riders in the Sky in a metallic acid extravaganza. I asked my wife if I really was playing better than normal, and she said honestly yes. I wasn’t BS’ing myself like on pot and booze in the past. No desire to drink, or smoke more, and was very glad I only took two tokes, about 1/20th of the little 1 gram bottle. Faded away after about 1 hour and 45 minutes with a flashback 22 hours later for a few minutes. Definitely similar to mild acid without the negative effects. A little like DMT weed from 1971. I took a lot of trips and smoked a lot of weed in the day. Played guitar for many years in the acid and rock/metal/blues style. It definitely enhances not only the sound, but playing ability. I have did once have a shamanic voyage with salvia extract, for the purpose of dealing effectively with grief, but could not play on it and could only take mellower music.

These legal herbs are something else. I suppose some might be milder or bunk or harmful. I had tried Hawaiian Baby Woodrose long ago for a mild trip, mescaline, peyote, mushrooms. The legal salvia and Zombie Matter are similar to mushrooms and mescaline respectively, but of much shorter duration and no negative side effects. Definitely do not drive or be in an insecure area. With salvia the Moody Blues were a real trip, although only 1/2 hour, with 1/2 hour smooth let down, while with the Ultra is was Hendrix style music. Both lent to a more relaxed state rather than exercise. Salvia gave me more romantic feeling toward my wife and made me a better person.

The FC Zombie Matter really helped get some good music playing in, and friendly conversation. I liked the Zombie Matter better because of the music. Google it, you will! l found them.
